Our History
Our Redeemer Lutheran Church has proclaimed Christ crucified and risen for nearly a century. The congregation was organized in 1930 in Jackson, Mississippi, as a member of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod.
Over the years God has led our congregation to several homes, including a church on Shady Lane Drive in south Jackson. Today we worship at 1799 Clinton-Raymond Road in Clinton.
Many faithful pastors have served Our Redeemer through the decades, including Rev. Steven Koenig, Rev. Scott Henze, Rev. Al Schubert, and our current pastor, Rev. Jonathan Manthei.
Through every move and every change, the Word and Sacraments have stayed at the center of our life together. We give thanks for all who have gone before us, and we look forward to what God has in store.
